The small hill which is nearly 60 metres in height is located in the Central Area, within Singapore’s central business district. Once known as Bukit Larangan or Forbidden Hill, the park at Fort Canning has become a popular hangout spot for both locals and tourists, providing visitors with an educational and cultural experience. The tombstones that once lined the cemetery have been removed and embedded into the walls that surround Fort Canning Green. The only thing that has been left unchanged is the gateway, an imposing Gothic feature.
